Street Photography Introduction

Henri Cartier-Bresson describes street photography in his voice is “To me, photography is the simultaneous recognition, in a fraction of a second, of the significance of an event as well as of a precise organization of forms which give that event its proper expression.” In my opinion I think it’s candid moments of time that are not necessarily on the physical street, but on the sidewalks. It's moments where people can really be themselves and have freedom outside of a compact studio. I feel like street photography in my own definition is that people around us have just as intricate lives as me. It's really a moment in time where you could just pause and think about other people's lives.
